The Tropical Journal of Health Sciences (TJHS) welcomes inclusion in library collections worldwide and supports academic librarians in making scholarly content accessible to their institutions.

About the Journal

TJHS is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published quarterly by the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. The journal publishes research in clinical and biomedical sciences, public health, and allied health disciplines.

ISSN Details

  • Print ISSN: 1117-4153
  • Electronic ISSN (eISSN): 2360-879X

These identifiers are registered and revalidated with the National Library of Nigeria and international indexing databases.

Archiving and Accessibility

  • All issues from January 2025 (Volume 32, Issue 1) onward are published under an open-access model with a Creative Commons CC BY-NC license.
  • Previous online issues have also been made retrospectively open access.
  • The journal is discoverable through databases such as AJOL, WorldCat, SciSpace, AFJUR, PubMed/NLM, and EBSCO. The journal is working towards maintaining long-term archiving through CLOCKSS.
